Hi our names are Rian and Cooper.We are apart of the design team for hub 10.11. This is our design plan for our classroom in 2017/2018.If you like our spaces please comment.

best thing this year

The teachers said we're going to topec I screeched “YAY.”  I said “what cabins are we in.” Mrs mca said “ We're not sleeping in cabins were sleeping in tents.” 2 weeks later “I can't wait to ride the bugs,” I said aye corbin.yeah bro corbin said. Finally it was my turn I hopped into the bug the instructor pushed me into the wave. I flip it straight away . well that didn't go how i planed. I got another go i rode the wave for like 4 whole seconds.

                   Fiji story

This is one paragraph of my story. This story is about when i went on a trip to Fiji. Im proud of the personification the i used in my writing.

Fiji  

The wheels thomped on the tarmac. The  wind  pushed on the plane. The plane slowed down with  mighty Force. I  looked outside.I could see the sun scorching and the heat rising from the tarmac. I could still hear the engine roaring.We walked out of the aircraft.We walked through customs and people were singing the bulla song.We  hopped into a taxi and we drove to the Hilton.

My multiplication and division goal is solving division problems with remainders.

Here's an example 45 divided by 6        6 times 7=42  but you can't get to 45 in the 6 times table. So there would be 3 remainders. So the answer is 7r3.

Independent Learning and Persistence

We have noticed a very independent persistence Learner in 10.11. Rian chose a division strategy to work on. He watched a video that explained the strategy , was able to understand the concepts and then set about to accurately complete examples.

   River safety Topec

• If in doubt stay out if you're not feeling comfortable with the activity  .

• know your limits you don't need to push yourself with the activity.
• plan your trip   make sure someone knows where you are .

• be supervised  always have an adult with you in a river and sea.

• know your surroundings know what is around you in a river or the sea.

When you do river safety you float down the river on your back feet first and then go into the survival backstroke.Then you float down the river in bugs and when you get to the halfway point grover stops you .    

I chose this avatar because it shows that i am sporty and i like to look good . I chose yellow and black because they are my favourite colours.I also like yellow black because i like the taranaki rugby  team .
